Copacabana Public School
opened in demountable buildings. The site was where the tennis courts are at present.



The school opened in 1983.

There was one class in each grade
K-6.



Construction started in 1985 and by 1987
the permanent brick buildings were completed and the new school opened.







In 1992 a Shade House was erected by Rotary to provide a growing area for native trees which are distributed.

In 1997 the COLA was built.







The rainforest was opened on World Environment Day 1997.
A fully equipped Computer Lab. was built in the Library in 1998

A Federation Garden was added in 2001
